BAGONG SILANG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 4TH AVE.

 

The school’s main objective is to provide access to quality and relevant education. The school is situated between 3rd and 4th Avenue East along Maria Clara St., Grace Park, Caloocan City. The school started as a rented building like Moreno’s Buenpacipico’s and Ruiz's in the early 50’s. The present site & building of the school was owned by the Evangelista family. Its first batch of graduates was in 1962 with Honorio H. Ramos as principal. The present site of the school was bought by the city government of Caloocan from Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) in 1982. The school site is composed of two (2) lots, the first consisting of six hundred fifty (650) sq. meters covered by Tax Declaration no. 013-000269 in the name of Felino Evangelista and the second lot consisting of three hundred twenty-five (325) sq. meters declared with the same name. Both lots have a total land area of nine hundred seventy-five (975) sq. meters.

At present, the school has a three-story building, namely buildings 1, 2, and 3. Building 3 has a roof deck where school programs, graduations, and as well as community activities are held. The following school heads had left memories and legacies to ponder upon.
